As the BBC announces that it is axing Radio 6, I’m heartened to see that many a celebrity has jumped onto this bandwagon in an attempt to save it. What is the BBC thinking of? A tiny amount of our licence fee goes towards radio, and frankly I would gladly pay all of it just to keep Jarvis Cocker and Guy Garvey in the DJing booth/their bedrooms or wherever they choose to broadcast from.

www.howtogeek.com is one of those web-sites which makes me want to spit at the screen because I just don’t understand it. That’s because I am not, I repeat NOT a super geek (or even regular one). Things like HTML and coding don’t keep me awake at night, you see. I have always been fascinated with natural disasters such as tornados or earthquakes. This is not to say that I would ever want to actually experience one, but to watch it on the television fascinates me. So, when the movie 2012 came out, I just had to watch it.
