Give Me A Break!
I entirely agree with this post I just read about commercials.
When you are in the middle of watching a film it is really annoying to suddenly be bombarded with adverts for things that do not even interest you!
The other thing is; why are adverts always louder than the programmes that they interrupt??? If you are watching a movie at a reasonable volume then you will almost get deafened when the commercials burst onto your screen!
Personally, I think they are a complete waste of people’s money anyway. When was the last time you bought anything ‘because the advert was so good’?
Speaking of which, it is my birthday soon and in case you are wondering what to buy me (that means you Wynne) I have been thinking a lot about that dvd set for Twin Peaks, but not because of the adverts!
